Osteoporosis

To have healthy bone, we need a daily allowance of about 100g of carbohydrate, 45-55g of proteint, 600-900mg of calcium, 200-400IU of vitamin D, 700-1000mg of phosphorus, 300-400mg of magnesium, 1-1.5g of sodium, 60-90mg of vitamin C, 2-2.3g of chloride and 3-4mg of fluoride. Prolonged lack of adequate the above nutrient may develop osteoporosis. The disease does not appear to be due to a simple nutrient deficiency. Other factors including a lack of exercise, a lack of sex hormone, the use of cortisone drug, alcoholism, excessive smoking, the use of steroid-type medication, chronic lung disease, cancer, hyperthyroidism, or even an excess intake of protein or fat in the diet, have been implicated.

Kidney Stone

To prevent having kidney stone, do not consume too much food containing a lot of calcium and vitamain D, and avoid excessive alcohol consumption. See a doctor if you have a disturbance in the parathyroid gland that upset the calcium metabolism.

Alzheimer's disease

The cause of Alzheimer's disease is irreversible damage to or loss of brain cells which may be caused by brain infection or brain damage

Parkinson's disease

The leading cause of Parkinson's disease is brain injury, brain tumor, brain infection, post-influenza encephalitis, carbon monoxide poisoning, and especially too much medications such as phenothiazine and tranquilizer.

Common Cold

Eat food containing vitamin A, vitamin B-complex and vitamin C; drink plenty of water and get enough sleep may prevent common cold.
Eat food containing omega-3 can protect your eye.
